yall so you know tarkovsky’s another unwatchable film called the mirror that is like biographical and everything, where tark’s dad was played by yank bc apparently there was an uncanny resemblance between the two. 

i thought nah what could be so striking between them, googled tark’s dad and hOLY SHIT

even worse (?) that in the mirror, tark’s actual author avatar as a child was played by yank jr, and maybe as a kiddo there was not much to muse on, but now, seeing what tark was irl

and EVEN WORSE, as i’ve already said here a few months ago, now YANK THE FUCKING THIRD, OG yank’s grandchild and obviously yank jr’s son, was cast as TARK HIMSELF in a film about him

making this entire situation just the weirdest shite. yank the third looks more like yank than his dad, and yet is cast to play a person who looked more like his dad rather than himself. while his dad did already play the person he’s about to portray. all while the grandad of the yanks played tark’s dad, with whom he does share a striking resemblance, and with whom yank the third shares that resemblance as well, but here he is playing not the dad but the son, who he does not look like, unlike his own dad…………….
